This is NOMO

NOMO Ceramics was founded by Charlotte and Ben, inspired by a shared desire to create an inspiring space where people can slow down, explore and experience the joy of making.

The name NOMO combines NO- from Nova and MO- from Moos, our two children. Their open-mindedness, curiosity and sense of freedom are the inspiration behind the studio.

Charlotte studied at the Design Academy and worked for many years as a designer and photographer. When she discovered ceramics, design, craftsmanship and creativity came together naturally. Working with clay gave her not only a new passion, but also a sense of calm and the opportunity to slow down and be fully present. That experience forms the creative foundation of NOMO Ceramics.

Ben mainly works behind the scenes on the development of NOMO. Drawing on his background as an entrepreneur and app developer, he is responsible for the website, technology, organisation and commercial side of the studio. Together, we combine creativity with entrepreneurship and continue to build NOMO step by step.

We love sharing our knowledge and passion for this craft and hope to create an inspiring place where we can make, learn and grow together. We invite you to experience it for yourself in our studio. Come and discover how working with clay can enrich your life too!

With love,
Charlotte & Ben
